Q: What does EPOS mean?
|

EPOS stands for electronic Point of Sale. It
describes a point of sales system used to process sales though a pc which will
take a sale update your stock control and issue a receipt to your customer,
sales are recorded in real time allowing monitoring of all stock and giving
full reporting and analysis of all movements, showing slow moving products,
best selling ranges, total products sold and monies taken, thus cutting down on
manual involvement and saving on man hours.

Q: Why do I need a P.O.S. system if I already have a cash register?
|
|
In some ways a P.O.S. system is no different than a cash register. It rings sales, registers the prices, calculates the taxes, and provides some sales reports at end of the day. A P.O.S. system can also track the inventory, re-order stock, keep track of customer purchases, do lay-a-ways and sales orders. Most P.O.S. software allows the retailer to integrate all of the store operations into one package, i.e., sales, inventory control, reports, accounting, multiple store communications, integration of data into other programs such as spreadsheets, graphs, publishing, word processing, etc.

Q: I already own a pc can i purchase just the software
|

Yes: Providing your system runs windows and is capable of taking our software we would be more than happy to install the software only
Poiunts to keep in mind, To run our software and take full advantage of the pos system you will need the basic hardware as listed below
Personal Computer 1 gig clock speed running windows 2000 and above 256 meg of onboard memory cd drive 20gig mimimum hard drive receipt printer with cash draw connection cash draw scanner
Before any software was ordered, we would come and check your systems to make sure they are compatable and ableot run the software
